I’m going to start keeping track of my plans over the next few months in a weekly blog post, so I force myself to be better at goal achievement.
- Read Ruby book, finish it. Find an intermediate Ruby and a Rails book to learn those platforms
- Work through the Java book, get Java 6 in me fast.
- Learn a few new tools, like git and/or Perforce in detail
- Maven – become a Maven somewhat guru. I can support it now, learn more pom pieces
- Write required papers for class, get research on Econometrics project under way.
Looks like a pretty solid week ahead for me. Lots of learning to be done, not much time to get it done in.
